To monitor and maintain the distributed control system hardware, software, process control networks and the defect detection system. This position is also responsible for IT hardware requirements.
Duties include but are not limited to: Develop proper controls and safeguards related to the distributive control systems. Oversees DCS use, development and system health. Troubleshoot electrical and control system problems by reading control wiring schematics and PLC logic. Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot process instrumentation and control system components. Maintain and modify existing control systems Review/implement software upgrades.
Prefer AAS Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or a High School graduate with 3 to 5 years progressively responsible experience in electronic instrumentation, PC based control systems and control logic. IT experience is a plus.
