Boiler Operator

Job Description

Twin Rivers Paper Company, Potsdam, NY has an opening in its Steam Plant for a boiler operator.

Primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the steam boilers, mill water supply and steam condensate system.

Job duties include but are not limited to monitoring boiler controls, maintaining records in plant operations, performing chemical testing of boiler make-up water and condensate, generating reports.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $26.37 to $30.83 depending on relevant experience. Our company offers a competitive wage and benefits package, including medical/ prescription, dental, vision, life, generous PTO and matching 401(k) plan.

Job Requirements

Job Knowledge/Skills Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

MINIMUM two years’ experience with industrial boilers.

Good math, problem solving and reading skills. Basic computer skills. Good communications skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge and ability to use measurements.
