Job Description

The City of Ogdensburg is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven professional to  lead and manage community development projects and programs that strengthen our local economy and enhance the quality of life for residents and businesses.

• Manage economic development projects and programs
• Administer grants and incentive programs
• Build relationships with businesses, partners, and community stakeholders
• Market Ogdensburg as a great place to live, work, and invest
• Analyze economic data and identify opportunities for growth
• Prepare reports and recommendations for City leadership

Compensation

$50,000 - $60,000/year Full-time, exempt position.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in economic or community development (preferred)
• Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
• A passion for helping communities thrive
