Executive Director

Job Description

TAUNY is seeking an energetic and visionary Executive Director to lead its nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the region’s folk culture and living traditions.

Working closely with the Board of Directors, this role provides strategic leadership while overseeing fundraising, financial management, staff supervision, daily operations, and community engagement.

Regional travel and occasional evenings/weekends required

Compensation

Beginning salary range of $65,000

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Leadership experience, preferably  in a nonprofit setting
• Strong fundraising and financial management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to cultural and community-based work
