Part-Time Assistant to Executive Director

The St. Lawrence County Workforce Development Board will be hiring a temporary, part-time assistant to its Executive Director.

Education/Experience: The individual should have at minimum an Associate’s Degree and at least five years of experience working in employment and training under either the Workforce Investment Act or or Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

Job Duties:  Include, but are not limited to, assisting in the implementation of Department of Labor and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act policies, helping prepare and revise the agreements between the One Stop and the One Stop Partners, preparing of the Local and Regional plans, assisting in securing any certifications required by the Workforce Development Board, assisting in the preparation of materials for WDB Executive Committee meetings and quarterly WDB meetings, and participating in meetings called by the partners and/or the Executive Director.

Hours: The position will average 10 hours per week. Candidates must be able to work a flexible work schedule.

Salary/Benefits: Not to exceed $16,000/year (subject to funding availability); there are no benefits.
