Plant Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

The successful candidates will have the ability to install, adjust, maintain and troubleshoot plant equipment such as:  hydraulics,  pneumatics, blowers, pumps, fans, air compressors, cranes and power distribution systems.

A proven electrical ability including machine repair, PLC’s, motor controls and VFD’s is required. The ability to work with team members and operators to ensure the efficiency of the daily production schedule is also required. Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.  Possess good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and temperature fluctuations.

Must be willing to work some weekends, overtime and respond to call-ins.

Compensation

$24.52 - $30.58/hour depending on current certification/experience

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. New York State Journeyman card in applicable trade is preferred. In lieu of this certification, we will consider individuals who have partially completed the apprenticeship program or who have 2 years of industrial electrical experience.

An AA degree in electrical engineering technology is a plus.
