Job Description

APC Paper, A Division of ProAmpac, is seeking FULL-TIME PRODUCTION TEAM/FIFTH HANDS in Norfolk, NY. The makers of recycled specialty Kraft Paper offer a uniquely designed swing shift schedule that allows employees the benefit of working (on average) fifteen, twelve-hour shifts per month, leaving fifteen non-workdays in which, seven are consecutive. This equates to ONE WEEK OFF PER MONTH and a paycheck every week.  Duties include: End-winder operations. Responsibilities include coring, size adjustments, banding, weighing, wrapping, stenciling and transporting finished rolls to storage. Assists beater room and machine crew during paper breaks and as needed to ensure optimum runnability. Is responsible for preparing and stocking supplies and general housekeeping. Adheres to all safety rules and regulations.

Compensation

This position pays $20.09 per hour.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or the equivalent, basic math skills, detail oriented. Possesses strong work ethic, good attendance history and the ability to work in both hot and cold environments. Requires the ability and stamina to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for long periods, bending, stooping and lifting of 70lbs is required.
