Job Description

Acara Solutions, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Distribution Center Clerk for a client in Gouverneur, NY.

Reporting to the warehouse supervisors, the position involves the accurate and efficient movement of inventory to and from warehouse shelves, into totes, and onto pallets.

Must be capable of repetitive reaching, standing, lifting, twisting, bending and walking
Must be capable of moving and lifting up to 50lbs. on a regular basis
Schedule includes rotating 3-4 weekdays/weekends, 7-10 hour shifts, 21-40 hours/week
Shift starts at 6:00 AM and ends between 1:30-5:30 PM, depending on the workload

The position is temporary and has the potential to become a long-term position with the client for a talented, dedicated, reliable and motivated worker. Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen.

Compensation

$13.20/per hour

Job Requirements

Minimum one year of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
Experience using hand scanner preferred
Basic math skills preferred
Experience with electric pallet jacks and power equipment preferred
