SUNY Canton: Microcredential – Foundations of Drone Operations & Compliance

Workforce Community and Industry Partnerships “WCIP” at SUNY Canton is offering a new Foundation of Drone Operations & Compliance micro credential beginning on January 19th with three required courses.  The first course involves test prep for the FAA Part 107 exam, which is required to operate and fly a drone. The other two classes will discuss flying techniques, using a drone for photography and conducting needed repairs.  This micro credential is being offered under the college’s ANCA/NYSERDA grant which means the tuition, fees, textbook and exam fee are covered.  The first course is synchronous online for 7-weeks on Tuesday/Thursday nights from 5:00-6:50pm. The other two courses are in-person in the evenings due to hands-on learning.  To request more information, visit:  Center for Workforce, Community & Industry Partnerships | SUNY Canton
