Outside Plant Technician

Job Description

Slic Network Solutions has openings for full time and part time Outside Plant Technicians.

Technicians perform outside plant tasks (pole work, fiber and copper splicing, cabling) as well as service installations (wiring and utilizing customer premise equipment, interfacing with customers).

Applicants must have a valid and clean NY State driver’s license.

Job Requirements

A positive attitude, great customer service skills, and desire to be part of a fast-growing company is essential.

Experience with copper phone, Cat5 cabling, fiber optics installation, splicing, aerial and buried construction is a plus but not required – we provided in-field, hands on training.

Flexibility to be on-call, work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.
