Job Description

DEFELSKO CORPORATION is a leading manufacturer of inspection instruments used worldwide in the corrosion and protective coatings industries. Based in Ogdensburg, NY, DeFelsko Corporation is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to ensure product quality through precision measurement, data-driven analysis, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. The Mechanical Engineer: Operates and programs CMM and inspection equipment; Performs SPC, MSA, calibration, FAI, and PPAP activities; Analyzes quality data and supports root cause investigations; Interprets engineering drawings and GD&T.

Compensation

Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually. Benefits: Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance, Group Life Insurance, Retirement Plan, Paid Time Off, and Paid Holidays.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering, or related engineering discipline; 3–5 years of manufacturing quality or related engineering experience; CMM programming and precision measurement experience preferred; Metrology experience a plus; Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
