CDL-A Instructor

Job Description

• Provide CDL-A one-on-one driving instruction on both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Flexible hours for scheduled driving instruction, up to 36 hours per week available.

This is a part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) 6-month position, work week-day shift with weekend or evening availability.

Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.

The successful candidate will be eligible for NYS retirement and benefits if working more than 20 hours per week.

Compensation

$45,000 to $53,000 annually

Job Requirements

Required:

• NYS Commercial Driver’s License Class-A
• NYS Class-D driver’s license
• Clean driver’s abstract
• High school diploma

Preferred:

• Minimum 5 years of CDL-A driving experience on manual transmission
